Michael Irizarry
Mike Irizarry joined UScellular in 2002 and oversees the company’s information systems and technology as well as all the company’s wireless technological operations. This work encompasses network build-outs, network operations and technological advancements that include 5G and Voice over LTE (VoLTE) network expansions.
Mike leads UScellular’s information systems, strategic operations program and enterprise program management teams. These teams focus on application development, data warehousing, wireless billing technologies and support for data centers and end users, all of which help associates deliver an excellent customer experience.
Prior to joining UScellular, Mike held executive positions with Verizon, Bell Atlantic Mobile and Paging Network, Inc.
Mike is a senior member of the Association for Computing Machinery, a member of the Executives’ Club of Chicago, active in the I.E.E.E. and its communications and computer societies and works closely with the 6G Alliance. He is also a member of UScellular’s board of directors and the NGMN Alliance board.
Mike earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Cleveland Technical College, a Master of Science in information management and an MBA from the International School of Information Management, and a doctorate in Communications Technology from Capella University’s School of Business and Technology. He is also a graduate of University of Chicago’s executive management program.

Tim Courtney has 25+ years of experience specializing in video communications, data communications, and automobile sectors with a core focus on wireless telecommunication. He currently works for Further Enterprise Solutions (FES), a Circet USA company. FES designs, builds, and maintains wireless networks for large and small carriers, OEMs, and neutral host providers (tower and in-building). His experience includes hardware design, software development, services, sales, operations, infrastructure system design, and consumer devices in supporting carrier markets, enterprise markets, and consumer markets – including direct-to-the-consumer. Tim has worked with many of the largest carriers and OEMs in the American markets (Verizon, Dish, T-Mobile, AT&T, Motorola (Nokia), Samsung, Ericsson) along with several start-ups/high growth companies, including FES, WFI, ViaMoto (turn by turn phone navigation platform) and Iteris/TrafficCast (Road Traffic Data). He has a passion for building high-performance teams and solving client challenges.

Mohy has 30 years of Wireless Semiconductor industry experience in Engineering, Marketing, Business Development and GM roles. His experience includes building businesses at established public companies as well as VC funded startups. He cultivated and built high efficiency cross-functional multi-location teams, infrastructure, and development processes. Mohy has extensive networking contacts within the executive level decision makers at OEMs and ODMs in China, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, and the US.
Significant M&A experience in the semiconductor space with over 12 acquisitions led by Mohy.
Mohy developed products including the best in class SOCs, RFICs, PAs, Modules, and a complex suite of connectivity and networking SW stacks supporting multiple OS and platforms. He has developed complex system solutions from concept through design, certification, and market launch. Mohy is an excellent decision maker, team builder, mentor, and technical leader.
